Anti-Money Laundering Policy
This page explains the anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) rules that apply to MadCasino accounts. MadCasino (madcasino.io and its mirror madcasino6.io) is operated by Softon Ltd under Anjouan licence ALSI-202409012-FI1. The summary is based on the operator's published terms, KYC policy and AML policy, checked on 29 October 2026. Where this page and the operator's documents differ, the operator's current documents prevail.

Purpose of This AML Policy
The purpose of this policy is to prevent MadCasino from being used for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud or any other financial crime. It describes the checks the operator applies to players, deposits, bets and withdrawals, and the actions it may take when a risk is identified.
To comply with AML, fraud prevention, payment security, sanctions, and licensing requirements, MadCasino may request verification documents, review transactions, restrict account access, delay withdrawals, refuse transactions, close accounts, or report suspicious activity where required.
The policy also protects players. Verified identities make it harder for third parties to take over accounts, use stolen cards or move illegal funds through the platform. By registering an account, every player confirms that they have read and understood these rules and will cooperate with verification requests.
Legal and Regulatory Framework
MadCasino is operated by Softon Ltd, which is listed in the public register of the Anjouan gaming authority (Union of Comoros) with B2C licence ALSI-202409012-FI1, issued on 7 September 2024 and valid until 6 September 2027. The operator's terms state that they are governed by Anjouan law, and its KYC policy refers to the Anjouan anti-money laundering framework.
The operator's AML document also names legal instruments and bodies from Curaçao. These references come from the wording of that document and do not indicate a separate Curaçao licence. Players should rely on the Anjouan licence as the regulatory basis of the service.
In addition to licensing rules, MadCasino applies international standards on sanctions, politically exposed persons and high-risk jurisdictions, and it works with payment providers that run their own AML controls. Payment providers may request information independently of the casino.
Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to:
- every registered MadCasino account, regardless of deposit size or account age;
- all deposits, bets, bonuses, winnings and withdrawals in any currency, including cryptocurrency;
- casino, live casino, sportsbook and prediction-market activity;
- all payment methods offered in the cashier;
- all mirror domains that operate under the MadCasino brand and terms.
AML checks are not limited to high-value players. Any account may be reviewed at any time, and verification completed once may be repeated when documents expire, details change or a new risk appears.
Know Your Customer Verification
MadCasino applies a risk-based approach and uses three levels of due diligence: simplified due diligence for very low-risk cases below set thresholds, standard customer due diligence for most identification and verification, and enhanced due diligence for higher-risk customers, large transactions or special circumstances.
When KYC Is Required
Full KYC verification is compulsory when a player:
- requests a withdrawal of any amount;
- reaches aggregate lifetime deposits exceeding €2,000 or the equivalent in another currency;
- attempts or completes a transaction that is deemed suspicious.
The operator may also request documents at any other time to confirm identity, location, source of funds or the purpose of transactions. Access to services, payments or withdrawals may be restricted until identity is sufficiently established.
Documents MadCasino May Request
- Proof of identity: a government-issued photo ID, front and back where required. The document must show a signature, must not expire within the next three months, and the full name must match the account name. The holder must be over 18.
- Selfie with ID: a photo of the player holding the same ID document, with the face, photo and ID number clearly visible.
- Proof of residence: a bank statement or utility bill issued within the last three months, showing the same full name as the ID.
- Payment method proof: for example, a photo of the card used for deposits, or a statement from the wallet or bank account.
- Additional documents: any document reasonably required to meet AML obligations, including source-of-funds evidence.
Documents and addresses from restricted countries are not accepted. KYC reviews are typically completed within 48 hours after all documents are submitted, but more complex cases may take longer. If verification fails, the reason is documented and the player is informed through a support ticket.
Age Verification
MadCasino accepts only players aged 18 or older, or older where the law of their country sets a higher minimum age. Age is declared at registration and verified through identity documents. If the operator suspects that an account belongs to a minor, it may suspend the account immediately, request documents and void bets. Accounts opened with false information may be closed, and balances will be handled according to the terms and applicable law.
Source of Funds
Each deposit must come from legitimate funds that belong to the player. With every deposit, the player declares that the money is not derived from criminal or unauthorised activity. MadCasino may request source-of-funds documents on a case-by-case basis, for example when deposits are large, frequent or inconsistent with the player's profile.
The published policy does not list which documents count as proof of funds. As general AML practice, operators usually accept records such as bank statements; ask support what MadCasino needs in your case. Until the request is answered, withdrawals can be delayed or the account restricted.
Payment Method Requirements
- Players may only use payment methods registered in their own name.
- Business accounts and third-party cards, wallets or bank accounts are prohibited.
- Deposits made with a prohibited method may be voided, together with any winnings derived from them.
- Withdrawals are normally returned to the source of the deposit. A different payout method requires supporting documentation.
- Withdrawals to third-party accounts are not made.
- Chargebacks, reversals and cancellations of deposits are prohibited.
- Players must inform the operator immediately about lost or stolen payment instruments.
Transaction Monitoring
The operator's compliance team monitors deposits, bets and withdrawals on an ongoing basis. Each player receives a risk rating when the account is opened, and the rating can change at any time based on activity. Risk factors include:
- Geography: residence in or links to higher-risk jurisdictions;
- Personal factors: for example, status as a politically exposed person;
- Behaviour: unusual betting, deposit or withdrawal patterns, frequent changes of payment instruments, or mismatches between citizenship, residence, IP address, mobile carrier and card BIN.
Monitoring may lead to additional verification, a lower risk tolerance for the account, or the restrictions described below.
Prohibited Activity
The following activities are prohibited and may lead to voided bets, confiscated winnings, account closure and reporting:
- submitting false, altered or incomplete KYC documents;
- using another person's identity or payment details;
- depositing funds for purposes other than gambling, including using the account as a payment transit;
- failing to provide a satisfactory explanation of unusual activity;
- collusion with other players, multi-accounting and transfers between accounts;
- using bots, prediction systems or software that removes the element of chance;
- exploiting software errors, chargebacks and bonus abuse;
- using a VPN, proxy or similar tool to hide the real location or bypass country restrictions.
Enhanced Due Diligence
Enhanced due diligence (EDD) applies to higher-risk customers, large or unusual transactions and special cases identified by the operator. Under EDD, MadCasino may:
- request source-of-funds documents;
- ask for additional identity and address evidence;
- verify the ownership of every payment method used;
- hold withdrawals while the review is in progress.
Players must answer questions within the time requested. Under the operator's rules, failing to provide the requested information within 30 days may result in account closure.
Politically Exposed Persons
The policy lists status as a politically exposed person (PEP) among the personal risk factors used in the risk rating, which means such accounts can face enhanced due diligence. In general AML practice this also covers close family members and associates, and may involve extra documents or closer monitoring.
Sanctions and Restricted Jurisdictions
MadCasino does not accept players who are residents of, or access the website from, the following jurisdictions listed in its terms: the USA, the Netherlands, France, the United Kingdom, Australia, Cyprus, Spain, Austria, Comoros, Germany, Sweden, and the Dutch West Indies (Aruba, Bonaire, Saba, Statia, St Martin and Curaçao). FATF-blacklisted and sanctioned countries are also excluded, as are other jurisdictions where online gambling is deemed illegal or that are prohibited by the Anjouan authority. The operator may refuse customers from additional countries at its discretion.
Players are screened against sanctions information. Accounts linked to sanctioned persons or restricted jurisdictions will be closed, and funds will be handled as required by law.
High-Risk Jurisdictions
Players connected to countries with weak AML controls, high levels of corruption or limited financial transparency may be subject to enhanced due diligence even when their country is not on the restricted list. The operator decides which jurisdictions are high-risk based on international lists and its own risk assessment, and may change this assessment at any time.
Suspicious Activity
Activity may be considered suspicious when, for example:
- deposits are withdrawn with little or no gambling activity;
- several payment instruments are used within a short period;
- the player's location data does not match the declared residence;
- deposits are inconsistent with the player's stated income or profile;
- accounts appear to be linked by device, address, IP or payment details;
- the player refuses or avoids verification.
Indicators are set at the operator's discretion in line with applicable rules. When suspicion arises, MadCasino may request explanations and documents, freeze funds and suspend the account while the case is reviewed.
Account Restrictions
MadCasino may restrict an account, either partially or fully, if:
- KYC documents are missing, invalid, expired or inconsistent;
- activity is considered suspicious and no reasonable explanation is provided;
- the player breaches the AML rules, the terms or game rules;
- the player uses the service in an inappropriate, fraudulent or unlawful way.
Restrictions may include blocking deposits, bets or withdrawals, cancelling bets and winnings, closing the account, excluding the player from games and reporting the case to the authorities. These decisions are taken at the operator's discretion.
Withdrawal Checks
Every withdrawal is reviewed before payment. Requests are usually processed within three banking days, but processing may take longer during verification, public holidays or payment-provider delays. Before a withdrawal is approved, the total amount wagered should at least equal the last deposit, and the first deposit must be wagered at least once. The minimum withdrawal is €100 and the limits are €1,000 per day and €10,000 per month. The operator may delay or refuse a withdrawal until AML and KYC checks are complete.
Cryptocurrency Transactions
Cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals are subject to the same AML rules as other methods. Crypto is not anonymous: wallet addresses and transactions can be traced and may be screened. Players must use the wallet address shown at the time of deposit, because addresses may change for security reasons; funds sent to an outdated address may not be credited.
Bonus Abuse and AML Risk
Bonuses can be misused to move money through an account. Opening multiple accounts to claim bonuses, coordinated play between accounts, or placing single bets that use most of a bonus-backed balance are treated as abuse. In such cases MadCasino may cancel bonuses and related winnings, withdraw offers, block products and close accounts. Bonus funds cannot be withdrawn before wagering is complete.
Record Keeping
The operator keeps KYC documents, transaction records and related correspondence for five years after the last transaction or the closure of the account. Records may be kept longer where required by law or by an ongoing investigation.
Data Protection and Confidentiality
Personal data and documents collected for AML purposes are processed under the MadCasino privacy policy and used for verification, AML compliance, fraud prevention, payment security and legal obligations. The operator may share information with financial institutions and law enforcement agencies where the law requires it, without prior consent from the player.
Reporting Suspicious Activity
Where required, the operator reports suspicious transactions or circumstances to the competent authority. Players will not necessarily be informed that a report has been made, because informing them could prejudice an investigation.
Player Responsibilities
- Provide accurate, complete and up-to-date personal information.
- Submit valid documents when requested and update them when they expire.
- Use only payment methods in your own name.
- Deposit money only to play, not to store or transfer funds.
- Do not use a VPN or proxy to hide your location.
- Respond to verification requests within the requested time.
Operator Responsibilities
Under this policy, the operator undertakes to apply KYC and risk-based monitoring to all accounts, protect personal data, explain the reason when verification fails, keep records for the required period, and report suspicious activity where required. The operator does not guarantee approval of any withdrawal or verification.
Changes to This AML Policy
The operator may change its AML rules at any time to reflect legal, regulatory or risk changes. The current version applies from the moment it is published. Players should check the operator's AML and KYC policies regularly.

AML Policy FAQ
Why do I need to complete KYC?
KYC confirms that you are who you say you are, that you are over 18 and that you are not in a restricted country. MadCasino requires it for any withdrawal and once lifetime deposits pass €2,000. Without completed verification, withdrawals and some account functions may be restricted.
Why is my withdrawal delayed?
Common reasons are incomplete KYC, a pending source-of-funds review, unfinished bonus wagering, or a payment-provider delay. Requests are usually processed within three banking days, but AML reviews can take longer. Check your documents, answer support questions promptly, and avoid cancelling and re-submitting the request.
Can I use someone else's card, wallet, or bank account?
No. Every payment method must be registered in your own name. Deposits from third-party or business accounts are prohibited and may be voided along with any winnings. Withdrawals are made to the source of the deposit and never to a third party.
What happens if I refuse verification?
You will not be able to withdraw, and the operator may restrict or suspend the account. If requested information is not provided within 30 days, the account may be closed. Verification is not optional, and refusing it does not allow you to continue playing normally.
Can the casino close my account for AML reasons?
Yes. If KYC fails, activity is suspicious and unexplained, or the rules are breached, MadCasino may close the account, cancel bets and winnings, withhold payments and report the case to the authorities. Such decisions are at the operator's discretion under its AML policy.
Is my personal data protected?
Your data is processed under the privacy policy and used for verification, AML, fraud prevention, payment security and legal obligations. Records are kept for five years after your last transaction or account closure, and may be shared with authorities only where the law requires it.
